[Colorado-Talk] 2 important events for blind and low vision people and their families

Dear friends,

Spread the word. Our NFBCOS Downtown Chapter meeting is tomorrow. President Nate Hecker will bring down the gavel at 6 pm. Come a little earlier if you plan to order food so we can start meeting on time and end meeting on time. This month, we will be back at Panino’s downtown, 604 N Tejon. Be there or be square. 😊

Now for the big event. The annual NFBCOS Colorado Springs picnic. From noon until 3 this Saturday August 22nd. Come one, come all! Fun, games, and BBQ. Cost is $5 per person. That includes smoked meats and all the traditional sides. Yum! There will be some drinks on hand, but you might want to bring your own beverage. We prefer no adult beverages during the BBQ. Please and thank you. BY the way, who has our tug-of-war rope? We hope to see you all on Saturday at the Elks Lodge at 3400 N Nevada. I think most of you got the save-the-date note about a week ago.
