[Colorado-Talk] You’re invited! Annual Colorado Springs picnic

Hi everyone,

The big event is almost here! Bring your friends, family, friends kids,
grandkids, Neighbor, that one guy or girl, and join us for the annual NFBCO
Colorado Springs picnic this Saturday, August 22nd, from 12:00 PM to 3:00
PM at the Elks Lodge #309 (3400 N Nevada Ave).

Event Details:

 Cost: $5 per person (covers smoked meats and traditional sides)

 Drinks: Some beverages will be provided, but feel free to bring your own.
Please note: no adult beverages during the BBQ.

Pool Access:

The Elks Lodge has a swimming pool on-site! Non-members can swim for $15
and must sign a waiver with the Elks. There is no lifeguard on duty, so
swimming is at your own risk; neither the Elks nor the NFBCO or Colorado
Springs chapters are liable. If you plan to swim, please let me know in
advance so I can help coordinate your entry using my membership.

By the way—does anyone know who currently has our tug-of-war rope?

We hope to see you all there for fun, games, and great food!
