Hey everyone!

Tonight's RTD Operations, Safety, and Security Committee meeting starts in
about 30 minutes. This is the committee that handles service delivery -- and
service cuts are on the agenda. We need voices tonight.

Register here:
https://us02web.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_XkYhwwO0RGyDf76JY6OSPw#/registra
tion

Or dial in: 720-928-9299, Webinar ID: 844 0523 7196#, Passcode: 1660#

Key points to make in public comment:

*	Service cuts shrink the ADA-mandated paratransit service area. The
board still has not seen a full analysis of what proposed cuts would mean
for Access-a-Ride coverage. Demand that analysis before any vote is taken.
*	Do not eliminate Access-on-Demand. It is the most cost-effective
paratransit option RTD offers. Eliminating it would push riders to
Access-a-Ride, which costs more and is already struggling with declining
performance.
*	Grandfather existing paratransit riders if service cuts shrink the
eligibility area. People built their lives around their current eligibility.
Losing it through no fault of their own is unacceptable.
*	The ballot measure for new revenue needs to be treated as a serious
priority. RTD will ask voters for money in 2028 -- do that as a healthy
organization, not a diminished one.
*	The $227 million in unrestricted reserves exists to bridge exactly
this kind of gap while a permanent solution is pursued.

Remember, you'll need to raise your Zoom hand in order for them to put you
on the list to make public comment. If you do it as soon as the meeting
starts, you'll probably be early in the list.

Written comments are also accepted anytime at RTD.Directors at rtd-denver.com
<mailto:RTD.Directors at rtd-denver.com> and become part of the official
record.

The full board vote is June 23. What happens in committee tonight shapes
what goes to that vote. Please join us. It should only take about half an
hour.

Thanks for all you do.
