[Community-service] new to the list

Hi all,

I'm new to the list.  My name is Ashley.  I am a young adult who graduated from Marymount University in May 2009 with a BA in liberal studies.  Currently I am looking for work which is tough for anyone looking for entry level employment.  I want to work in public affairs or public relations for a nonprofit or work in an outreach capacity.  Ideally I'd like my job to support an organization who helps people.

I love volunteering and believe community service really helps us grow, network and learn  new skills.  I helped campus ministry with some outreach projects when I was a student.  Currently I don't do any volunteer work but I hope that changes if the organizations I called respond to me.  

I joined to find out what other blind people are doing for community service and how you do your work.
