[Community-service] First Meeting

Hi all,
  I am pleased to  tell you all that the  community service group had  it's first meeting of the membership  just a few minutes ago.
  This meeting  was comprised of folks who have interest in building  support for  service-minded folks who are blind, as well as building  a division  that brings the blind in sighted together in service.
 
  We came up with four committees, the chairs of these committees  will be in contact  with you via the list soon, but here  are the committees:
 Convention Service Project: putting  together  a service project at National convention which    will engage interested members of the federation  in community service in the host  convention city.
 Confrence call  workshop chair:  will  put together service-based   workshops via conference  call.
 Seminar  chair: responsible  for  coordinating  seminar at National convention and washington seminar ( if deemed appropriate).
 Fundraising Chair:  tasked with chairing committee  which will come up with innovative strategies to raise  funds to support the  service work we do.
 I look forward to  you involvement in these committees.
