Ashley,
Plenty of time now to make your way to the convention if you want to be a part of the seminar :-)
Even if we record, you can't get questions answered and you can't meet other people.
Definitely great thoughts Ashley.
This electronic message has been brought to you by my mobile device.

Too often, it is thought we cannot help out in emergency or disaster situations. With the training and resources to help, we can act on it and disspell those myths.

Also, I believe certifications are national and scope; they expire after two years. If you all do decide to host a cpr or first aid workshop, just make sure the red cross staff are aware of how to teach the class; it has to be hands on and descriptive; usually, they demonstrate up front and then people practice. Having not taken a class, I'm not sure how its run, but I heard they typically show videos as well; now if the videos are informational and auditory, its fine, but if not, you need an alternative way to learn the material.
> Also you all will need a lot of time for that. At least around here, a CPR workshop for adult cpr takes about 3 hours and to do infant, child and adult cpr, it takes 5 or 6 hours.
