[Community-service] Not Going to National Convention?

Hello all,
At our last committee meeting we gathered a good number of people to figure out the direction of our service project.
At that meeting individuals were welcome to bring fourth ideas on what type of project we should do and who to contact to do it.
We had two ideas that came from this and the idea was to come back in a week’s time to see about the project which seemed more attractive and realistic.
a combination of factors lead to that cancellation of the meeting. The plan was to keep all in the loop as to when the next meeting took place.
unfortunately no other meeting took place because only one project came up as a possibility and the decision to go about the project had to ultimately be agreed upon by the board/leadership (typically committees make recommendations which the board makes final decision on, but seine there was only one option and the next leadership meeting was open to anyone we went with the only choice available.
At this point we need to do two things:
figure out transportation and financial considerations that go with it. and be sure we are on the agency calendar.
the latter is pretty simple and is the least of our worries.
In short, there has not really been a reason to call for a meeting of the committee, of which only one person outside of the planning leadership has expressed interest in.
As soon as we figure out issues surrounding transportation, and feel like we have something complete enough to announce, we will be sure to do so!
Best,
Darian
