Deanna and all,
The social media committee meeting is open to all who are interested. A couple of people responded to my initial recruitment e-mail with their interest in serving on the committee, but it is never too late to join; we can always use more members.

Hello Chris,
My name is Deanna Langton. I am a member of the NFB of Minnesota. I attended the Community Service Division meeting during National Convention and enjoyed the opportunity to volunteer at the division's table in the exhibit hall. I am interested in becoming more involved in the division, so I am wondering if this call is open to all members who are interested in promoting the work of the division through socia. It seems that there has already a committee that has been formed, but I wanted to offer my assistance wherever there may be a need related to communications. I can be reached at this email address or by phone at 651-247-4461.
Best Regards,
Deanna

Hi all,
This is just a reminder that the social media committee will be meeting tomorrow, August 11, at 8 pm Eastern. We will be discussing how we want to use the division’s Twitter, Facebook, blog, listserv, and Web site presences to engage members, prospective members, and the general public in the events and mission of the division. If you have any ideas about how we might do this, please feel free to bring those ideas to the call. Call-in information is below:
