[Community-service] January's social media committee conference call

Hopefully, many of you have seen my message from earlier today asking for those interested in being on the social media committee to contact me. As we search for new members and work to grow the committee, we are still going to have a meeting in January to keep the progress of the committee on track for the new year. The call-in information is as follows:
Date: Thursday, January 8, 2015
Time: 9 PM Eastern
Anyone with interest in being on the social media committee is welcome to attend. We will be discussing the division’s Twitter, Facebook, listserv, and blog as well as how to make each social media platform more interactive and engaging to members and prospective members, so bring your ideas for what you want to see the committee work on in 2015. If you know someone who you think would be a good fit for the committee, please bring their name as well—or better yet, ask them to come along!
If you can’t make it on Thursday, don’t feel like you can’t be a part of the committee; I did this thing a bit backward after all. Like I said in my initial message, just send me an e-mail letting me know you’re interested, and also be sure to include a few dates/times that would work for you so that we can work on establishing a consistent monthly meeting date/time.
