Fellow Federationists:
The National Federation of the Blind Community Service Division Invites you to meet the 2016-2017 Board of Directors.
Come and meet the combination of new and returning names and voices that make up our leadership. Meet not only our board, but each of the individuals who chair the different efforts, initiatives and programs we are working on this year.
This is a great opportunity to ask questions, bring ideas and join the opportunity that fits your interests and skills.
Also feel free to suggest a project you might want to take on if it is not being done and you think that it should be.
What?: Meet the board call
When? Sunday 8/14 at 9:15 p.m. ET
Where?: Call (712) 432-0140. Use access code: 808277.
We look forward to talking with you then!
Let’s get Involved!
Let’s Go Build the Federation!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
“We need your service, right now, at this moment - our moment - in history. I'm not going to tell you what your role should be; that's for you to discover. But I am going to ask you to play your part; ask you to stand up; ask you to put your foot firmly into the current of history” — Barack Obama
