Hi All,

  The Community Service Division is starting to think about the types of things we want to do this year.
 Here’s the thing though; we need your help figuring out what those things might be.
  We want to come up with workshops and seminars that would definitely be interesting to you. We want to come up with things that will help us fundraise and people that will support us in doing it.
 We want fresh ideas for our annual seminar and people who want to help us put the seminar together.
 If you have any such ideas then shoot me an e-mail.

 While I’m at it, we are still looking for ideas and people to help us with overall things with the division. Please get a hold of us for non convention things by e-mailing: info at nfbcommunityservice.org .
 Thanks!

The National Federation of the Blind knows that blindness is not the
characteristic that defines you or your future. Every day we raise the
expectations of blind people, because low expectations create obstacles
between blind people and our dreams. You can live the life you want;
blindness is not what holds you back.
 “We need your service, right now, at this moment - our moment - in history. I'm not going to tell you what your role should be; that's for you to discover. But I am going to ask you to play your part; ask you to stand up; ask you to put your foot firmly into the current of history” — Barack Obama
