Nella,

That's interesting. Did you volunteer in this construction project?
I wish I could say I've done that.
Did you just use your sense of touch to put the vynal tiles down, or how did 
you do that?
Like you, I'm not great with tools, but on a group project, I'm sure I could 
contribute to it in doing things like you described.

All this talk of constructing makes me want to try it with habitat for 
humanity or another group.

I'm sure you won't be constructing the whole house.  There are many things
that can be done.  I'm not handy or good with tools in any way, but I've
sanded floors, put down vinyl tiles and did all the prepping before
painting.  I'm sure there are blind people out there who really have
knowledge and experience who can do far more than me.

How is it possible for a blind person to construct a habitat for humanity
