[Community-service] 9/11 Day Service Suggestions

9/11 Day of Remembrance is fast-approaching, and this will be the first of many days of service that we participate in over the next year. This thread will be dedicated to “Service Suggestions” for September 11th, 2018. Please post any suggestions you may have here by replying to my message. 

A great place to start when searching for a volunteer opportunity is 
https://www.911day.org/volunteer. Here, you can enter a keyword (ex: 9/11 day) and your ZIP-code, and the site will show you matching volunteer sites. Then, you can pick which one sounds the most intriguing to you, and you can go directly to their website to register. It’s easy-peasy!
