                                               Coat Giveaway

Early this morning, with confidence, I faced the bleak weather with a
warm smile. Fearless of the hoarse winds in which I am secured by an
extra thick well insulated coat. Like an epiphany, I was reminded how
truly bless I am. On the other hand, thoughts of the less fortune
chilled my spirit. Just the thought of kids walking to and from
school, homeless individuals, or even those who do not have the funds
to purchase winter gear.

Today, I ask my federation family to please join me in a “Coat
Giveaway” by gathering new or gently used coats, hats and gloves and
donate to your local Salvation Army, churches and/or supporting
organizations that giveaway winter apparel to needed families.
