[Jeanetta Price]

Miranda Borka is lifetime member of the Phi Alpha International Honors
Society, she  is committed to the values of service and integrity. Having
graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Science in social work in
May 2019, she is currently pursuing my Master of Social Work with a
clinical concentration. With over 1,000 hours of internship and volunteer
experience with diverse populations as refugees, survivors of domestic
violence, the military community, individuals in crisis, and children and
families within the treatment and therapeutic foster care system. In these
roles, she provided crisis intervention, intake, information and referral,
and follow-up services, facilitated trainings and psychoeducational support
groups, reviewed and suggested policy enhancements, and planned community
events. These opportunities have allowed her to build rapport and work with
individuals, groups, and communities to improve clients’ well-being.
Miranda’s long-term goal is to provide clinical social work to clients who
have experienced complex trauma.
