*From virtual volunteering to zoom meetings to social mixers and
taking care of business, we can not live without our cell phones. We are
conversing anywhere and everywhere but nevertheless we must be mindful of
our surroundings. The month of July is **NATIONAL CELL PHONE COURTESY
MONTH and I would like for us to take a moment to inhale and exhale to
think about your cellular habits. During this pandemic, cell phones have
kept us connected and allowed us to volunteer all over the world. For this
reason, as volunteers, let us self -evaluate and continue to change our
communities one service at a time. *
*Happy Monday Y'all! *
National Cell Phone Courtesy Month during July encourages us to evaluate
our cellular habits and consider others before we reach for our phone.
Our phones have become an integral part of our lives. We schedule events,
organize shopping lists, order birthday presents, and communicate all from
this one, small device. Do we even make a phone call any more?
Phone courtesy has always been in fashion, but when they became smart, it
seems we lost a few brain cells. The month strives to bring polite phone
usage back in style.
Check out these 7 Easy Rules to Mobile Phone Etiquette
<https://nationaldaycalendar.com/7-easy-rules-of-mobile-phone-etiquette/>.
Once you do you will be on your way to better relationships.
When we put the people around us before our mobile devices, we strengthen
our relationships. Our phones are a tool and shouldn’t get in the way of
the more important things in our lives.
*CELEBRATING #CellPhoneCourtesyMonth*
Our phones are tools. They shouldn’t replace every social context in our
lives. Practice a little courtesy and gain improved relationships
everywhere you go. Encourage your friends and families to join you
throughout the month. Use #CellPhoneCourtesyMonth to share on social media.
That's all folks!
