[Ct-nfb] suggestion

You're absolutely right, Esther. This list is supposed to be informational, and there is no reason for the idle chit-chat. I continue to address it with those inconsiderate members who refuse to use the list properly.

I'm leading the horses to water, but I still haven't figured out how to make them drink.

Take care,

Justin

Suzanne, yes, you’re right.

I thought that this email list was going to be primarily informational, but our email boxes are being cluttered with idle chit-chat, a lot of which I, for one, am not particularly interested in. I know that on some list serves, there is a link at the bottom to reply to sender, and another one for replying to the group.

Thanks, and I don’t mean to sound like an old fuddy-duddy.

Esther

Hello,

May I suggest, if possible, that you set the list for only the moderator to post to members? This would eliminate any kind of nonsense emails and chit chat email. A separate list could be started for anyone on the informational list to join if they are interested in interaction and discussion.

It seems a shame for so many to opt out because of the volume. The actual informational emails have not been voluminous.

Setting up two lists might help to keep all parties satisfied. Just a suggestion. Don’t’ know if it’s an option.

Suzanne
