I hope someone asks the good Senator what he and his other members of Congress are doing about the thousands and thousands of jobs being shipped out of the USA to other countries, where the wages are far less.  This includes Information Technology, Call Center, and other jobs that can be done from a desk, anywhere on the planet.  AT&T and General Electric are among the little known corporations who are leading the charge in outsourcing and  offshoring so many jobs and careers.  BTW, General Electric PAID NO TAXES to the US IRS for 2010, on a profit of $15B!  Yes, that's B as in billion.

On Wednesday, September 28th Senator Blumenthal is hosting a Job Fair in East Hartford to connect employers in CT with potential employees. The event is open to the public and job seekers of all backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
