Rich,
I don't think that would work even if you managed to do it. The NLS digital talking book player is a specialized format, while books from your local library are probably mp3 if audio, or scanned text files. Why not just download your books from NLS?

Subject: [Ct-nfb] downloading books to thumb drive
Good morning all:
I have recently decided to download books from my local library, to my computer, however I can't transfer them to my flash drive. So that I can play them on my NLS machine. Does anyone know how this is done, or is this a possibility? I have no other source to download them too, I'm using a program called overdrive.com for down loading purposes, but it will only go to my computer.
Thanks
Rich
if anyone has suggestions, please e-mail me dirrectly rmcgaffin at snet.net or call me at 203-937-5441
