Subject: Reminder Assistant (Assistive Technology Clock)

Dear Beth,

It was my sincere pleasure speaking with you earlier this morning with respect to the Reminder Assistant Clock campaign that I have initiated. Our discussion has provided me with both your guidance and assistance has been invaluable and truly appreciated.

It is from speaking to many enthusiastic people such as yourself that provides the fuel and motivation personally to continue giving 110% towards this endeavor. I believe you share with me the understanding that the clock has genuine merit. Also, that people with visual impairments (and as you suggested beyond that class) may find a great utility for the features including the digital voice recording.

Once again, the short link to the audio / video demonstration and other information of the campaign is at http://bit.ly/OvkfQT .

At this point there are limited quantities available, and if a new production run is warranted, we would be looking at a delivery around Thanksgiving. Your suggestion to make these available at the retail outlets that service special needs is a direction we would like to pursue after the campaign is complete (which is in less than 4 weeks). At that point we shall assess what will then be available and accordingly satisfy any orders from retailers.

In the mean time the campaign makes clocks available on an individual basis for purchase. Under the heading “I’ll Take One” a clock may be purchased at an exceptionally low price. The campaign cost is set at $50 which is well below the retail suggested price of $79.99 and with even a greater savings as this includes shipping. Of course, there are means on the campaign page for people to provide a modest donation that collectively will be applied to provide free clock to some very deserving children.

Your gracious offer to provide this over CT. list serve and also NFB of the United States and the presidents list serve is immeasurable.

We are hopeful with the sharing of information of this product’s capabilities and availability, that fate will take its course and we can bridge the gap between us and those who really have the need for the item.

One great way of bringing greater awareness is through the Facebook SHARE feature. We can be found on Facebook at http://www.facebook.com/ReminderAssistant.

Once again, I cannot express enough the appreciation for all the help you have provided.

Sincerely,

Larry Gotlieb
