F   The National Federation of the Blind of Connecticut is Holding Our Fifth
Annual Writing Contest! Topic of Essay: "What is a Significant Contribution
the Blind Community has Made for America?" Deadline: August 15, 2013

 

Entrants for this contest must be legally blind residents of Connecticut.
All double-spaced, typed entries of 500 words or less must be original,
previously unpublished and must be accompanied by this cover sheet. Please
submit entries by email to infonfbct.org or by mail to the NFB of CT, 477
Connecticut Blvd, Ste 217, East Hartford, CT 06108. This information is also
available on our website: www.nfbct.org

 

The winner of the contest will be announced at the September Board Meeting
of the NFB of CT. The winner will receive free lodging and registration at
our

42nd Annual State Convention to be held November 2 & 3 at the Four Points by
Sheraton in Meriden. (A winner under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an
adult to the convention.)
