[Ct-nfb] our purpose

Dear fellow Federationists, 


I feel people have forgotten the purpose of NFB;to provide advocacy pertaining to people who are blind.  Since NFB isn't a charity, we should not get into the business of funding financial assistance for medical needs such as surgery and/or treatments.  Medical charities fund these purposes.  Any member of NFB can also choose to donate to themother and child from India.  Therefore, I vote no.
