[Ct-nfb] Bill 6654 legislative alert

Since it's in the blindness community's interest that this bill be
thoroughly considered, it would be most fruitful for NFB members to
determine if their state rep or senator (find you legislators
here<http://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/menu/CGAFindLeg.asp>)
is on the human services committee (click here to find
out<http://www.cga.ct.gov/asp/menu/MemberList.asp?comm_code=HS>).
Those of you whose legislator is on the committee would be well served to
call him or her (please leave a message with staff; rest assured the
boss'll get it) asking her or him to request that the bill be referred to
the human services committee.  This will get the bill off the floor and
give you an opportunity to educate your legislator.
