Good morning friends:

Eileen as you know once waggie (aka) Peanut comes down, I don't read my e-mail so please accept my apology for not responding, I want to thank you for offering your extra cane, however it may not be the same size of the one I had. I will contact B.E.S.B./ D.O.R.S and get one of theirs, I hesitate on doing this because I like the telescopic one I had. But if need be I'll get one from the state.

Thanks again

Rich

Eileen,

I think it's so great that you are offering Rich the use of one of your canes from BESB, but I think a very valid reason for someone to choose to use our Free White Cane program is because the type of cane we give is very different.

Take care,

Justin

Good morning all:

I'm not sure if I've mentioned or not, but I know I put it on face book. About 2 weeks ago, my white cane broke while walking to Stop & Shop to meet my wife. I went on the NFB's web-site and filled an application for a new one, because as we all know traveling independently is almost impossible with out it. At the end of the application after going to the sound test thing. It says this order will not be confirmed without an e-mail confirmation, it's been over 2 weeks now and I've never received a confirmation e-mail. Does anyone know why? Although I don't want to clog up the request form with requests I did fill out another one this morning, if anyone knows who or can contact some one to check on this for me, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks

Rich
