Catching up with Kristen and Zoe

Kristin just graduated from Harvard Law School with a focus on international law and national security law. She's now studying to take the bar exam. The team was featured in the Summer 2013 issue of The Seeing Eye Guide Magazine <http://seeingeye.bmetrack.com/c/l?u=3A44044&e=4DF995&c=FBD7&t=0&l=8842D17&email=8oQdd7ynzi%2FWd2yi42Yk5GnkM30OfR%2Fi> .

Kristin and Zoe are shown at Kristin's recent graduation from Harvard Law School. Congratulations Kristin! Kristen submitted this photo with the following note:

"Thank you, The Seeing Eye, for the wonderful gift of Zoe. She represented your organization well at graduation, navigating a crowd of 36,000 people and guiding me across the stage with ease. The Dean of the Law School called her name after she announced mine and Zoe proudly wore her cap and gown all day! I can't imagine having achieved this goal without her and feel so fortunate to have had her by my side. She is a heroine in every sense of the word."

Zoe submitted a photo of a closed sidewalk with a street detour around a construction zone about which she writes:

"Super exciting study break walk! The sidewalk on Mass Ave was closed for construction. They had blocked it with yellow tape and created a two foot walkway in the street that was marked with yellow tape. When I got the forward command I found the faux sidewalk in the street and navigated down it for a block until I could take her back to the real sidewalk! My tail was going very fast and I was very excited. Thanks to the police officers who have seen me work in the area before and did not try to disrupt my work. They also helped us document the fun challenge!"

A second photo submitted by Zoe shows her sleeping beside a treadmill at the gym. She's lying on her back with her feet in the air and her harness resting on the floor beside her. Zoe writes, "Was not ready for my human's run to be over this afternoon. I wanted to keep snoozing on the nice cool floor at the gym."
