Good morning:

CRIS Radio needs  YOUR Help!  Gov. Malloy is recommending that all funding
($71,000) to  CRIS be completely eliminated.  The result would be 
significant
and  CRIS would no longer be able to offer CRIS Radios and our broadcast
service  free of charge.

There is an opportunity to persuade state lawmakers  that the service CRIS
provides is invaluable. You can help by doing the  following:

*       Please write a letter of  support;

*       Please agree to speak in support  of CRIS at the committee's public
hearing on Thursday, Feb. 11 beginning at  4 p.m. at the Legislative Office
Building.

Speakers are limited to  no more than 3 minutes.

Letters can be emailed to me, and I will  convert them to PDFs and submit
them to the Appropriations Committee in  advance of the public hearing. The
deadline for the letters is Thursday,  Feb. 11 at 9 a.m.
