Hello!

As most of you know, Bob and I have been raising puppies that go on to be guide dogs for the blind for over 30 years. We are currently raising Ian, our 22nd guide dog puppy, for Freedom Guide Dogs for the Blind.

Freedom Guide Dogs is celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and will be placing a record 40 specially trained dogs with blind and visually impaired individuals along the entire east coast of the US, at no cost to them.

In order to help with this endeavor, Dining in the Dark will once again be held at The Gallery in Glastonbury, CT on Friday, October 13, 2017. 
We are hoping that you will join us for a night of fun and learning. We are welcoming NBC Connecticut Today anchor Heidi Voight as our special guest emcee, and the night will be filled with an exciting new silent auction, raffles and, of course, the challenge of dining blindfolded.

This year's poster for the event is attached and we hope you will share it, post it, and follow the directions for purchasing tickets!! Checks should be made payable to Freedom Guide Dogs and mailed to me at 67 Sperry Lane, Meriden CT 06451.

We hope you will join us for this fun and informative event and help to support Freedom's mission.
