[Ct-nfb] IMPORTANT

With all due respect to our president, I’m not sure that we should be so quick to exclude them just because of the experience Jim had with them last year. The company was in transition, like Steve Famiglietti had explained to us months before the convention, which can create a number of difficulties. I think of the objective of the exhibits at the convention to be a matter of helping blind people connect with helpful resources, which this company might still be. I think it would be meaningful, though, to have open and honest discussion with the leadership of the company about what happened last year to ensure that it does not happen again.

President Riccobono continues to teach us about the importance of building relationships, and I think this is an opportunity for us to build a strong and positive relationship if we do it right. I have utmost faith in Jim’s work last year, but I want to give the company an opportunity to prove themselves to us.
