Hello Justin and all,
I can't thank you enough for all the support. I was very hesitant to send an
email asking for help and your response has been overwhelming. I am very
excited to check out every suggestion you have given.
Justin,I appreciate you sharing your feelings about where I should look. I
will definitely check out the NFB Independence Market page first.Mahalo!
(did I get that right?)
Best Regards Always,
Joanna

Aloha Joanna, et. al,
I want to offer a link to the NFB Independence Market page:
https://ecommerce.nfb.org/asp/default.asp
The NFB Independence Market, located within our national headquarters, is a
place where we sell things at-cost, and the products we sell there have some
sense of validity because we are a group of blind consumers running a store
for ourselves. Even if the market doesn't have something you want, I
strongly encourage you to communicate what your desires are so that the
market can consider carrying such a product.
I also saw mention of Maxi-Aids, and I want to offer something on them. They
are no longer invited to NFB national conventions as an exhibitor because
they got in trouble for selling used products as "New," as if they thought
blind people were too dumb to figure it out. I don't use them at all because
of that. Even if I got a decent product, I have to maintain some sense of
dignity.
I also have gone to Independent Living Aids in the past, but calling my
friends at the NFB Independence Market is always step one for me.
Take care,
Justin

Hi Eileen,
Thanks so much for the info. I have to get a new watch almost every 9
months! My husband will help me look at these sites.
Best Regards,
Joanna

Hello all,
Does anyone have a recommendation of where I can purchase a good quality
talking watch that is not sporty but dressy?
Also, does anyone know of exercise videos that have descriptive video with
it?
Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Joanna
