Hello, fellow Federationists!
HR 1772, the Accessible Instructional Materials in Higher Education Act, known as AIM HIGH, currently has seventeen co-sponsors in the House of Representatives. It's making progress, but it will take a lot more to make Aim High a reality.
Joe Courtney is the only CT legislator who has co-sponsored HR 1772. It would be great to have the others on board.
This article does a very good job of showing how important it is that colleges and universities have guidelines to assist them in working with blind students.
I'm urging that we all contact our representatives and encourage them to co-sponsor HR 1772.
