Connecticut Federation members,
I am aware that many of our affiliate members, including leaders, to not participate on social media. Because of this, I am providing the link to an open letter from President Riccobono released today regarding the recent flurry of revelations of sexual misconduct within the organization.
Countless Federation members are sharing their stories of experiencing sexual abuse, assault, or misconduct during Federation events and/Or While attending training centers. these survivors deserve your support, respect, and protection. It may be difficult to predict just who may be a predator or pose a danger, but it is all of our responsibility to make sure that our environment is safe and inclusive. Those responsible for suchPredatory and harmful behavior should face extreme consequences, and have no place In the Federation. Similarly, those, especially our leaders, who fail to take these matters with the seriousness, sensitivity, and deserved consequences must not be welcome.

Our loyalties must remain to the members, the affiliate, and to the organized blind movement of the Federation.
