Phil,

 

Congratulations!  You have been a tireless advocate for the disabled in Connecticut (and nationwide).  I can’t think of a more deserving new member for the SRC.  You will hold the Department’s feet to good fire and likely represent a geographically underrepresented area.  Though you do not officially represent the Federation in your particular seat, I invite you to represent your Federation membership, leadership, and high expectations with great pride.

 

What a wonderful Christmas Eve gift for you, and what a wonderful gift on this fourth day of Christmas for our Federation affiliate to know.

Congratulations on your appointment!  Many years ago, I was on the SRC as well and it was a wonderful and enlightening experience.  Good luck!

many of you know that on Christmas Eve I received a telephone call from the Governors Office advising me that I had been appointed to the SRC, State Rehabilitation Council. 

As a Councilman, I intend to work hard to make sure that our rights and services are made a priority. I was appointed as an individual, not as a representative of the Federation.
