Yes, good memories, I don’t know what we had for lunch? But we waited for quite a while for a train to come bring me home and him to Rhode Island for more legislative work, never done. Beth

Hello All,

I agree, Anil Lewis is a bright, articulate and lovely man.

My first encounter with him was early on in attending the Washington Seminar. He took two or three of us with him to one of the meetings with our legislators.

I watched how someone with experience, some history and much knowledge conducted himself. I am still impressed!

My second encounter was when Anil came to Hartford to join us on an appointment that I had arranged with the two staffs together from our national senators.

Afterwards, we went out to lunch together. He is a role model to be sure.

Mary

Mr Lewis is a wonderful person, we had the opportunity to meet him when he spoke at one of the first State Conventions we attended.

I was captivated by his journey and his sense of humor. If you were there you will remember that there was a graduation party going on in the room next door. The music was quite loud and as Anil got up to the podium, he said “this is the first time I have ever had to compete with Lady Gaga!“
