The coronavirus pandemic has affected all aspects of our lives. From college courses to get-togethers with friends to job interviews, everything has changed. We take classes online, meet friends for virtual game nights, and conduct job interviews without an introductory handshake. In handling these situations, we often end up with more questions than answers. To address these, Learning Ally's College Success Program will be doing a free 3-part webinar series titled "Navigating an Online Coronavirus Landscape" which will focus on college academics, social life, and professional next steps.

The third and final webinar in this series, held on Wednesday, November 18 at 5:00pm ET, will focus on college and your professional next steps. We'll hear from CSP Mentor Caitlin Mongillo, as well as guest speakers Breandan Ward, Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Wagner and Certified Leadership Coach, Khadija Bari, Student Career Coordinator at VISIONS/Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired, and Samantha Stephens, President & Director of First Job Austin, as they share tips for entering the workforce in an online environment. You'll hear:

*	Tricks for impressing potential employers during virtual interviews
*	Tips for maintaining professionalism while at home
*	Ways to address how a job can be done virtually and strategies for communicating that during an interview
*	Approaches to networking remotely
*	Ways to increase upon your knowledge and experience virtually that can add to your resume

We'll also have a Q&A session at the end of the webinar, so come prepared with your questions.

About Our Speakers
Cailtin Mongillo, CSP Mentor and Webinar Moderator
Caitlin has a BA in English and Secondary Education from Manhattanville College and a Masters in Social Work from Stony Brook University. She currently works as a social worker in the Office of the Public Defender in Southwestern Connecticut. In this role, she aids clients in accessing services, counseling, and supports to ensure they receive equitable legal services. Prior to this, she was employed at the intersection of workforce development and housing; overseeing programs to assist homeless single mothers and people with disabilities. She is honored to share her experiences and wisdom with the next generation of college students. She counts herself fortunate to be a small part of her students' stories. Some of Caitlin's favorite things are witty conversations, relaxing with her family and friends, cuddling her dogs, humongous mugs of tea, cozy sweatshirts and the scent of the air after a rainstorm. She is a wife, a hard worker, a dreamer, a wannabe poet, and humbled to be a CSP Mentor.

Breandan Ward, Adjunct Assistant Professor and Certified Leadership Coach
Breandan was born in Ireland and diagnosed in 2003 with a genetic form of macular degeneration. He graduated from University College Dublin with a degree in Commerce and French. He started his career at Goldman Sachs and subsequently joined Morgan Stanley where he held various leadership roles. In his most recent role as Executive Director, Breandan led the Global Margin and Risk Support Operations team. Moving from the private sector in 2016 to pursue further studies, he graduated from NYU with an Executive Masters in Public Administration. Breandan is an Adjunct Assistant Professor at NYU Wagner where he teaches on disability and leadership. His consulting and advocacy work in these areas includes content development and delivery for Dialogue in the Dark. He is a Certified Leadership Coach, is on the board of the Xavier Society for the Blind, and was awarded the Millennial Gold Medal by the International Academy of Management. Breandan is an avid runner and enjoys foreign languages and travel.

Khadija Bari, Student Career Coordinator at VISIONS/Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired
Khadija is the Student Career Coordinator in the Workforce Development department at VISIONS/Services for the Blind & Visually Impaired. She is also a trained speaker and a member of the Board of Advisors with RespectAbility. Khadija earned her Masters in Economics from Hunter College of the City University of New York. She then began her career at Queens College of the City University of New York, working with first-generation college students in their learning in freshman and sophomore Algebra and Calculus courses. The next step in her career advancement led her to VISIONS, switching her focus to the professional development of college students and job seekers with visual impairments and other disabilities, and she partners with companies to foster inclusivity in their workplaces.

Samantha Stephens, President & Director of First Job Austin
Samantha is a native of Annapolis, MD. She served 15 years in the corporate world, 7 of them as Vice President of Commercial Property at The Rouse Company in Columbia, MD. In 2002, she co-founded Austin Woman Magazine, successfully selling her half in 2008. Along with job mentoring, she continues her real estate development and management business, Apricot Glen, LLC, in Austin, TX. Over the last 7 years, she has empowered the lives of over 600 graduates and professionals returning to the workforce by guiding them to successful first-time jobs in Austin. What started as simply a desire to help people she knew personally, quickly snowballed as others learned about Sam's gift to encourage and prepare candidates for that first job interview and successful employment. Samantha is a graduate of The University of Maryland with a BS degree in retail marketing, a 20-year resident of Austin, TX, a mother/stepmother to 7 adult children and a wife to Johnny Stevens, a professional architectural photographer.
