Hello, all.

Our efforts on S 212, The Access Technology Affordability Act, are paying off. Senator Murphy has co-sponsored the bill, bringing the total of senate co-sponsors to twenty-nine. Thumbs up to those of you who have made phone calls and sent e-mails.

Senator Blumenthal has not co-sponsored yet, so we need to continue contacting his office. Feel free to reach out if I can help in any way.

I understand that the legislative directors in these offices have not always been good about responding to e-mails, but Senator Murphy has signed on. Please don’t get discouraged.

Let’s keep up the good work!

> Great news, S. 212, the Access Technology Affordability Act has gained two new Senate cosponsors this week! Senator Tim Kaine from Virginia and Senator Chris Murphy from Connecticut have cosponsored the bill giving a grand total of 29 cosponsors. I’d like to thank our affiliates in Virginia and Connecticut for their hard work by getting both Senators to sign onto the legislation.
