Hello, CT Federationists.
I'm very happy to pass on the good news that Senator Richard Blumenthal has co-sponsored the Access Technology Affordability Act, S 212. This means that both of Connecticut's senators have co-sponsored this bill, which we are hoping will be included in the budget that congress is currently working on.
A big shout-out to those of you who have been contacting Senators Murphy and Blumenthal to advocate for their support of this bill. As of today, it's up to 31 senate co-sponsors. The house version of the bill has 114 co-sponsors.
