Please share with Chapter and Division members. This is the same as the Jernigan tickets we used to sell at chapter meetings. For each $20.00 you spend it gives you a chance to win a free trip to the 2023 National Convention. You can choose the Fund to donate to.

Thank you,

Maryanne Melley

President

Display the Power of a Movement for Braille and Beyond

Federation members and friends support our great programs. When you participate in the Give $20 campaign <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=25932&qid=7229485> you will be entered into the Give $20 Convention Drawing AND help our work to change lives for blind people. Thanks to a generous gift from HumanWare, the maker of solutions that help blind people live independently and participate successfully in today’s world, every dollar contributed will be matched up to $50,000!

The funds you contribute through the Give $20 campaign help us reach more blind people and raise expectations through education, advocacy, and mentoring. One recipient of a scholarship for first-time convention attendees shared:

Through my first national convention experience and the relationships I built, I have come a long way. Today, I serve as my chapter president, mentor other first-timers, and share our positive philosophy with others. I am proud to state I am a military veteran and a proud member of the National Federation of the Blind.

Each $20 Contribution Is a Chance to Win

Your name will be placed in the Give $20 Convention Drawing for each increment of $20 you give. Give $100 and you will be entered into the drawing five times. The winner receives a free trip to next year’s convention or a cash prize of $2,000. Here’s how you can give:

*	Contribute online now <https://nfb.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=25933&qid=7229485> .
*	Give via phone by calling 410-659-9314, extension 2430.
*	Send a check to National Federation of the Blind, 200 East Wells Street Baltimore, MD 21230. Important: Be sure to have “Give 20” and the fund you are donating to in the memo.

The Give $20 Convention Drawing Supports the Following Funds:

*	White Cane Fund: These dollars go directly to the general treasury of the Federation.
*	Kenneth Jernigan Fund:The proceeds from this fund are used to bring a number of attendees to their first national convention. It is named in honor of our former president and longtime leader to promote attendance at the national convention, where so much inspiration and learning occur.
*	SUN Fund:These funds are being set aside in the event that they are needed to support the Federation during difficult times.
*	tenBroek Fund:These dollars go to the tenBroek Memorial Fund which owns the property at 200 East Wells in Baltimore for the benefit of blind people.

You can select multiple funds and your gift will be counted for the drawing regardless of which fund you designate. If you are not sure which fund to choose, the White Cane Fund allows the most flexibility for your contribution to go where it is most needed.
