Subject: Voting on November 8th

Dear BESB Boards::

            I am writing to encourage everyone on the board to pay special
attention to the voting process on November 8th and the process for absentee
voting beforehand. You could assemble any observations and concerns about
accessibility you have that could then be shared with the new Secretary of
the State. There will be a new Secretary of the State who I am sure will be
interested in your thoughts. I hope you will also ask anyone else you know
who is blind (or any groups) to make a point of "taking notes" on their
voting experience.

I can say that I often use the voting apparatus for people wo are blind in
my town of Colchester and it works well. And the ballot it produces is now
the same as everyone else's and can be put into the counting machine with
the same anonymity as all the others.
