Email the Appropriations Committee Now!

Budget to be voted on Tuesday or Thursday

Dear Members,

The Appropriations Committee is expected to vote on a Committee budget as early as Tuesday and must consider one this week. It is crucial that you email your legislators that serve on that Committee to urge them to support funding for nonprofits!

As you may have read in the press, due to spending cap restrictions, the Committee budget may be much tighter than many advocacy groups have hoped. It is crucial that legislators walk into their caucus meeting Tuesday at 10am with nonprofit funding at the top of their minds.
