Subject: Grant Opportunity for Nonprofits Serving the Visually Impaired
Good morning,
The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven is seeking grant applications
now through Monday, October 2 by 5pm to support organizations serving
visually impaired residents from Greater New Haven.
This competitive application process has a pool of approximately $60,000
available to grant this year. The grant range is $5,000 to $10,000 for
2023 support.
Applicant Eligibility
* Applicants must be tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) or any
applicable statute of the Internal Revenue code, or have a fiscal agent with
the appropriate tax status.
* Applicants must provide services provide services to visually
impaired residents within The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven's

* Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to a policy of
non-discrimination on the basis of age, sex, religion, national origin and
sexual preference, in all aspects of organizational operations-hiring,
leadership and service provisions.
* Applicants who received a grant from The Community Foundation for
Greater New Haven in the previous three years must be up to date with all
reporting requirements.
