Hi all,

I just wanted to share this, Vincent Trantolo was the lawyer that we hired when we had our motorcycle accident that caused Paul's loss of sight. It was he and his firm that helped us to establish the Technoloy Grant that the NFB of CT has.

He and his Firm sponsored two Fishing Tournaments where all the proceeds were presented to the NFB of CT.

We always considered ourselves to be fortunate in knowing him.

“We are trial lawyers, compassionate with those who seek our help, and relentless against those who would seek to harm them.”

These are the words of Attorney Vincent Trantolo of Avon, Connecticut, who passed away peacefully on March 25, 2024, surrounded by his family and loved ones. He was a legal visionary and an advocate for the wrongfully injured, who exemplified unwavering dedication, unparalleled expertise and an unbreakable commitment to justice. He leaves behind an indelible mark on the legal profession and the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Throughout his illustrious career as a personal injury attorney, Vincent’s immeasurable influence extended far beyond the boardroom and courtroom walls, inspiring countless individuals. He was a mentor, trailblazer and beacon of integrity, setting the standard for ethical practice and compassionate leadership. His eternal legacy is made strongly evident in the landmark cases he championed, as well as the myriad of lives he touched along the way.

After graduating from Fairfield University in 1968 and Suffolk University Law School in 1971, Vincent followed in his father’s footsteps to move outside of traditional legal boundaries and provide meaningful, insightful and effective representation. He was dedicated to social improvement and helped more than 20,000 clients injured through no fault of their own.

As Vincent once said, “A lawyer should fight for you when you can’t fight for yourself because without dedicated representation, injured people would be at the mercy of powerful insurance companies. I understand that it takes more than just knowledge of the law to win. It takes compassion for clients and their families and a sincere passion for success. This is one reason why so many Trantolo & Trantolo clients become our dear friends.”

Vincent was also a pioneer in groundbreaking media and marketing innovations, who impacted both the state and national legal communities. In 1984, he effectively challenged the status quo of legal marketing with his winning argument before the Connecticut Supreme Court, which led to a historic ruling that allowed law firm advertising on television.

During his five-decade career, Vincent set several state court records. His desire to help the wrongfully injured was apparent with every case; a client’s pain would become his pain and their family his family.

In the wake of this tremendous loss, Trantolo & Trantolo, LLC mourns the passing of a titan in the legal community and a cherished father, grandfather, mentor and friend. The firm is proud to carry on the enduring legacy of Attorney Vincent J. Trantolo and his commitment to justice, compassion for others and dedication to legal excellence.
