Hello Everyone,
Yes, the nest is empty and the Birds are gone.  Birdies for Charity needs
your help.
NFB-CT needs a new Leader to help raise money.

Every year in June, the Travelers Championship Golf Tournament  takes place
at the TPC River Highlands in Cromwell.  This is a wonderful
opportunity for nonprofits of all sizes to raise money.
Webster Bank adds 15% to every donation made through the Birdies for
Charity program.

The Volunteer and Charity Manager at the Travelers  is very helpful and
will get you started.

The project runs from mid April to late June.

Joe and I have done this for five years and have raised almost $10,000  for
NFB-CT.  Birdies now needs new ideas  and wider networks of outreach,
specifically using social media.

If you are ready  to "try your wings" on a new challenge, please contact
Maryanne Melley or  Lucia
at the NFB-CT office.
