positions! They are located in Norwalk, Litchfield, and Tolland. If you are
a TVI or even just studying working towards your master's/certification,
please apply. And if you know someone who should apply, please liberally

Connecticut for certified Teachers of the Visually Impaired (TVIs) or those
currently enrolled in Vision Studies programs. The Department of Aging and
Disability Services (ADS) is hiring for Education Consultant 1 positions
within the Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind (BESB). 

 

This is a unique chance to make a meaningful impact by supporting students
with visual impairments through specialized instruction, collaboration, and
advocacy across Connecticut.

 

Position Highlights:

*	Full-time, 35 hours/week (Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM-4:15 PM)
*	Hybrid work environment with statewide travel
*	Openings in Norwalk, Litchfield, and Tolland
*	Instruction in Braille, assistive technology, and Expanded Core
Curriculum (ECC)
*	Collaboration with families, schools, and service providers
