Hello Federation, family,
My name is Melissa Thompson, and I am one of the advocates at one of the
centers for independent living in Connecticut. We are partnering with the
Disability community to have a call to action regarding the proposed federal
cuts in Connecticut and the impact that they will have on the lives of
people with disabilities. I am asking Everyone in the Federation to join to
support me and and this fight to help show our solidarity in our fight to
prevent the proposed cuts.
The zoom link to join is in the attached document, and we will start at 10
AM for one hour on May 7, 2025. I hope that everyone can join and come to
listen and hear What is needed to know about these proposed federal cuts.
Thank you so very much,
Melissa Thompson; MSW, IL Advocate
