Hey everyone, it's Merly from the Southern Chapter! As the holidays
approach, I wish everyone a wonderful and safe holiday season. I will be
one of the vendors at our convention in November, so let’s show some love
to all the vendors who will be there. I can’t wait to see you all!

P.S. I just found out about some exciting new changes that are happening.
While scrolling through TikTok, I just had to Google it myself to see how
true it is. I noticed that Target is doing something really positive for
our community. They are introducing an accessible self-checkout system for
blind customers, which features Braille icons, high-contrast buttons,
volume controls, and a custom tactile controller to help navigate the
touchscreen. This system will be rolled out nationwide starting this
holiday season.

It has to start somewhere, and I'm really excited about it! We've got a
long journey ahead, but even a little progress is better than none.
hopefully other businesses can apply the same methods. Hoping for the best.
