Hi Deb.

I had to make a difficult decision. I will not be at the convention again this year. Between us, when I go places with Hope, I have to pay for her and Nicole. Hope does not contribute to anything and I can not handle these expenses anymore. My week long trip to Iowa was almost $1000 which I didn't expect. My budget is a mess. Too much going out and not enough coming in. I am tightening the belt.

I will be traveling to Texas in 2026 but not sure when. I will get help with that trip, not from Hope but my friends there. I can not afford to pay everything all the time. It's going to stop. Unfortunately, I need help to get around the convention and Hope is willing with all expenses paid. Not going to happen. We can talk by phone further.

It sounds like the Apple Harvest carnival is arriving. I hear a racket outside. That's exciting. Have a great day.

This year‘s convention is jampacked with new speakers and great guests to learn from and network with. On Saturday after our banquet and scholarship program along with our National rep, sharing some life experiences to inspire us, we will have some entertainment and fun to enjoy. Each one of you has a part in making the playlist for Our Blind karaoke. Just email your favorite song titles to this email or privately to Deborah Reed, which ever is easier for you. I have already started a list and look forward to your selections.
