Invitation to Members of the National Federation of the Blind

 

UR Community Cares warmly invites members of the National Federation of the
Blind to join us at the Waterbury Eye Health Fair on April 24th from 10:00
a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Waterbury Senior Center, 1985 E. Main Street,
Waterbury, CT.

We would be honored to have members of your community attend and connect
with individuals who may be experiencing vision loss for the first time.
Your presence and personal stories can provide encouragement, inspiration,
and hope to those beginning their sight loss journey. Hearing directly from
individuals who are living full and independent lives with vision loss can
make a powerful difference.

 

The event will feature 20+ vendors and organizations sharing valuable
information, tools, and resources related to eye health, assistive
technology, and community support services.

 

RSVP is required.
