The Connecticut Bureau of Education and Services for the Blind (under the
Department of Aging and Disability Services) is hiring a rehabilitation
teacher of the blind in Waterbury. If you know Braille and other blindness
skills, can teach them, and are willing to have your office be based in
Waterbury, this job may well be for you. This sounds like a great
opportunity to teach blind people, perhaps from high school through their
senior years. Being able to teach Braille would be a strong asset, and note
that a TVI credential or even being a student in a TVI program is NOT
required.
