Cheryl:

The new meter is as you say. DDI can't win! On the one hand, people
complained that the volume was too easily changed so they did as you say
and put it in SETTINgS. So now people complain because it's in Settings.
(grin) I haven't tried a cable as I don't own one; I figure it's just as
easy for me to enter my readings into a BS Plus as it is to mess with
computer software.

Subject: [Diabetes-talk] new prodigy voice meter

Good morning Kelly:

question I just got a new prodigy voice meter from ADS in GA.

My questions is that it is much different then the one I have.

It has no eject slide up on the side of the meter to eject the strips,
to
lower or raise the volume on the meter instead of using the up and down
arrows on the meter you actually have to go into settings just to lower
and
raise the volume.

Also I use the software to download my numbers and the old cable didn't
have a usb connection on the meter it had a round end. now I need a new
connection so that I can download my numbers ADS does not have the cable
connection do I need new software for this meter I need the new
connections.

I really don't like the model I got from ADS.

Did anyone else notice this with the new prodigy meters.
