My question is why? Firstly, if an ad doesn't say a meter talks, it's a fair assumption that the meter doesn't talk!

Secondly, the fact that it uses just one button is a pretty good clue that the meter doesn't talk since it would take some pretty elaborate menus to perform the functions of a talking meter with just one button.

I guess I don't see why one should automatically assume that if a manufacturer makes a tlking meter, all of its products should be expected to talk.

Oh well.
